Steward's Report
Miss Zeus, Skibo Rebel and Lots Of Nitro collided soon after the start. Fireball Frank and Invictus Lenny collided soon after the start. Miss Zeus checked off Berkel Boy on the first turn; checking Skibo Rebel and severely checking Lots Of Nitro. Skibo Rebel contacted the rail approaching the home turn and lost considerable ground. Lots Of Nitro raced wide in the home straight.
Skibo Rebel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Lots Of Nitro underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
