Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Taipan Jill, Lainey Zapper and Pyrenees Alpha collided on the home turn checking Taipan Jill and severely checking Lainey Zapper which fell as a result. Distant Sun checked off Barellen Rae in the home straight.

Lainey Zapper underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left shoulder and back and minor wound to the mouth. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Especially Eager was quick to begin. Crackerjack Jaws and Gunmetal Magic collided soon after the start checking Crackerjack Jaws. Pete Cabang and Iceni Viking collided approaching the first turn checking Iceni Viking. Iceni Viking checked off Gunmetal Magic on the first turn. Buzz Out and Burning Ella collided approaching the home turn checking Burning Ella. Dr. Tobain checked off Buzz Out on the home turn. Crackerjack Jaws and Dr. Tobain collided in the home straight.

Five Sisters was slow to begin. Don's Boy raced wide in the back straight. Don's Boy galloped on Red The Run on the home turn checking Red The Run. This Time Bro and Five Sisters collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Flying Jamaica, Jackie Jai and Maggie Pie collided approaching the first turn. Flying Jamaica and Jackie Jai collided on the first turn checking Flying Jamaica. Maggie Pie and Harry's My Name collided entering the home straight. Flying Jamaica and Catch Kate collided entering the home straight. Harry's My Name and My Name's Wally collided approaching the winning post.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Arancini with representative Mr. J. Formosa and noted his comments.

Joffa's Princess was slow to begin. Ride On, Teak's Streak, Aston Sofia, Colourful Past, Sky Show and Arancini collided on the first turn checking Sky Show, Arancini and Teak's Streak. Teak's Streak, Sky Show and Joffa's Princess collided approaching the second turn.

Arancini underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both monkey muscles. A 5 day stand down perios was imposed.

Yassie Bell - Late scratching at 13:35 due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Big Leigh, Apple Valley and Saffron Gold collided on the first turn checking Apple Valley. Cullquin Vincent, Black Booker and Your Queen collided entering the back straight checking Black Booker.

Talented - Late scratching at 13:44 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms. G. Kiernan was fined $100.

Another Bling, Yondu and Major Bourbski collided on the first turn. Sense and Yondu collided entering the back straight checking Yondu. Hua Hin and Major Boubski collided on the second turn checking Major Bourbski. Major Bourbski and Happy Tails collided approaching the home turn. Yondu underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left limb.  No stand down period was imposed.

Belle Curve, Fernando Toy, Pyrenees Pegasus and Kraken Storm collided soon after the start checking Fernando Toy and Pyrenees Pegasus. Create A Scene and Kraken Storm collided approaching the first turn checking Fernando Toy. Fernando Toy and Pyrenees Pegasus collided on the first turn checking Fernando Toy. Fernando Toy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a back injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Indy Nevada was quick to begin. Deering Danae was slow to begin. Upright, Firing Fernando and Baringa Bullet collided on the first turn. Firing Fernando and Deering Danae collided on the home turn checking Deering Danae.

Black Strat underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Crackerjack Nash was very slow to begin (3L). Late Night Kebeb and Cracked Soda collided approaching the first turn checking Late Night Kebab. Dundas Houdini and Librarian collided on the first turn. Crackerjack Nash, Late Night Kebab and Heart Beats True approaching the home turn. Rezzie's Choice and Heart Beats True collided on the home turn. Pranjip Comet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Wark kennel representative, of the greyhound Kraken Jonny in regards to the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. After viewing all available footage, and taking into account Mr Warks comments and Stewards own observations no further action was taken.
