Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

Frost Us underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the right hind foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Timmy was quick to begin.  Omega Dodge and Finlaystone collided approaching the first turn.  People Get Ready, Dr. Mick and Kai Valley Rocks collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Dr. Mick and Kai Valley Rocks collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds causing Kai Valley Rocks to stumble and lose ground.  Timmy and Dr. Mick collided approaching the winning post.

Kai Valley Rocks underwent a post-race veterinary examination -  no apparent injury was reported.

Destini Trucker was quick to begin.  Skittle and Thistle Rock collided approaching the first turn.  Space Trucking, Sunshine Spolly and My Faith collided approaching the first turn checking Sunshine Spolly.  Sunshine Spolly, Skittle and Thistle Rock collided on the first turn checking Sunshine Spolly.  Space Trucking marred Sacred Path in the home straight.

Space Trucking underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Steven Van Oirschot, the trainer of Space Trucking regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Space Trucking was charged with marring.  Mr. Van Oirschot pleaded guilty to the charge, Space Trucking is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.
