Crackerjack Nash went up with the rise of the lids and lost ground. Dressed Up checked off Silver Arapaho on the first turn and lost ground and tailed off as a result. Silver Arapaho and Oaklee Bale collided on the first turn checking Silver Arapaho and Terka Wye. County Durham and Joffa's Mayhem collided approaching the home turn checking Crackerjack Nash, Terka Wye, Silver Arapaho and Free Warrior. Free Warrior raced wide on the home town.
A post-race sample was taken from Oaklee Bale - the winner of the event.
Dressed Up underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left pencil. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
