Steward's Report
Crown Knox and Take The Lead were slow to begin. Wild Brutality, Filgora Bale and Aston Select collided approaching the first turn severely checking Filgora Bale. Filgora Bale and Take The Lead collided approaching the first turn checking Filgora Bale. Take The Lead and Ride On collided on the first turn checking Take The Lead. Lewis Osti and Wild Brutality collided approaching the home turn checking Lewis Osti. Aston Select galloped on the heels of Lewis Osti on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.
Lewis Osti underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Aston Select underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. T. Kennedy-Harris regarding the greyhound Crown Knox racing manners apporaching the first turn. After observing all available footage, Stewards own observations and Ms. Kennedy-Harris' explanation, Stewards took no further action.
