Blackpool Ace checked off Titanium Springs soon after the start. Angie Ling checked off Natsu Bale approaching the first turn. Dundee Blitz checked off Angie Ling on the first turn. Angie Ling and Galilahi collided on the first turn checking Galilahi. Natsu Bale checked off Push Start on the home turn.

Blackpool Ace underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 7. Blackpool Ace was found to have a left fore flexor tendon injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

The announcement of All Clear was delayed to allow Stewards to review the video footage of this event after a rabbit was noticed near the home turn. After reviewing the footage Stewards were satisfied that the presence of the rabbit had no material effect on the chances of any greyhound and All Clear declared on the semaphored numbers.

Zipping Hector and Ryden Bill were slow to begin. 

Fyodor Bale turned its head inwards and collided with Tiggerlong Al entering the home straight.

Ryben Bill underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both wrists, a right deltoid muscle injury and a right chest muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Fyodor Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr C Grenfell, the representative of Fyodor Bale regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Fyodor Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Grenfell pleaded not guilty to the charge, Fyodor Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

This event was delayed approximately three minutes due to a miscommunication with club staff regarding the starting time.

Last Outlaw and Aurora Miss collided approaching the first turn. Last Outlaw, Wynonna Earp, Stagger Loot and Giant Bale collided on the first turn checking Wynonna Earp. Stagger Loot and Giant Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Giant Bale. Lady Pippa checked off Giant Bale in the home straight.

Know Success, Minnesota Lee and Shanlyn Magic collided approaching the first turn. Minnesota Lee and Shanlyn Magic collided on the first turn checking Midnight Titan. Minnesota Lee crossed to the rail approaching the home turn checking Shanlyn Magic.

Stewards inspected the track following this event after trainers raised concerns with the track surface in the home straight. Stewards deemed the track suitable for racing.

Muza's Gift checked off Miyagi Magic approaching the first turn. Miyagi Magic checked off Fast Trapper on the first turn, also checking Big Baccala. Muza's Gift brushed the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Big Baccala raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Muza's Gift underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Magic Panther was slow to begin.

Pink Tiara checked off Latinize approaching the first turn. Hopsing and Magic Panther collided on the first turn checking Hopsing. Blackpool Funk checked off Pink Tiara on the home turn. Hopsing checked off Blackpool Funk entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Magic Trap.

This event was delayed by approximately one minute to allow club staff to remove wildlife off the track.

Saucy Sav checked off Take A Rose approaching the first turn. Calendar Boy and Take A Rose collided entering the home straight. Saucy Sav raced wide in the home straight.

Mask - Late scratching at 2.55pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to hip injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Five Times Table and Go Slow Goldy were quick to begin.
