Zipping Spud - Dual engagement today, also drawn as a reserve in a final at Horsham however was not required. Trainer Ms. B. Kinder scratched the greyhound from its engagements due to illness. This scratching was lodged prior to the appointed scratching time of both Horsham and Geelong, however due to an administrative error with the TAB the greyhound was not scratched from its engagement at Geelong until 2.55pm.

Slingshot Style and Cash No Bounce were slow to begin.
