Jackson's Valley and Spolly Smasher were quick to begin.
Gracelands and Rock Me Elijah collided soon after the start checking Rock Me Elijah. Mischief Reigns checked off Gracelands on the first turn checking No Problem John. Sam's Spolly checked off Spolly Smasher in the home straight severely checking Gracelands and Rock Me Elijah causing Gracelands and Rock Me Elijah to race wide and lost considerable ground.
At the trainer’s request, Gracelands underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a contusion to the left elbow. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
