Steward's Report
Onya Prankstar, Ha Ha Gotcha, De Belin and China Catch 'Em collided on the first turn checking De Belin and Ha Ha Gotcha. Tashendo and Awesome Freckles collided entering the back straight. Dyna Jenaya raced wide to the second turn. Onya Prankstar eased approaching the second turn and lost ground. Dyna Jenaya, Ha Ha Gotcha and Tashendo raced wide in the home straight.
Onya Prankstar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. B Stephens, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Onya Prankstar was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Stephens pleaded guilty to the charge, Onya Prankstar must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
