Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Double Glaze.
Double Glaze and George's Fever were slow to begin. Pyrenees Petraca, Saint Ray and Tibby Shore collided on the first turn, checking Pyrenees Petraca and Saint Ray. Saint Ray, Double Glaze and Pyrenees Inferno collided on the first turn, checking Double Glaze and Pyrenees Inferno. Saint Ray and Double Glaze collided approaching the home turn, causing Double Glaze to race wide. George's Fever raced wide approaching the home turn. Saint Ray and Pyrenees Inferno collided entering the home straight, checking Pyrenees Inferno.
Double Glaze underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Noel Massina, the representative of Double Glaze regarding the greyhound's performanance. Mr Massina stated that it was ithe greyhound's first appearance at the track and he would expect the greyhound to benefit from today's experience.
