In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 34.8 degrees and the kennel temperature was 19.9 degrees.
At the commencement of race 1 the outside tempreture was 24.8 degrees, in accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, Stewards removed the policy for the remainder of the meeting.
See Nitro, Victor Ludorum and Mr. Black were slow to begin.
Molly Fernando, Saint Tess, See Nitro and Red The Run collided on the first turn checking See Nitro and Red The Run which lost ground. Maximum Jenny and Nitro Roxy collided heavily on the home turn causing Maximum Jenny to falter. Maximum Jenny, Nitro Roxy and See Nitro raced wide on the home turn.
