Be So Good checked off Sofie Gogolac soon after the start. Miss Rampe checked off Sofie Gogolac soon after the start. Cruisy's Warrior shifted in soon after the start, checking Lancashire, Laile Brobio and Solar Life. Miss Rampe checked off Be So Good approaching the first turn. Sofie Gogolac, Wild Brutality and Cruisy's Warrior collided on the first turn, checking Cruisy's Warrior. Solar Life shifted in on the first turn, checking Lancashire and Laile Brobio. Solar Life galloped on Cruisy's Warrior on the first turn, checking both greyhounds and causing Cruisy's Warrior to stumble. Lancashire checked off Be So Good approaching the home turn. Laile Brobio and Cruisy's Warrior collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Cruisy's Warrior turned its head outwards approaching the winning post and collided with Laile Brobio.
Be So Good underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hindleg foot. No stand down period was imposed.
Cruisy's Warrior underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race seven, no apparent injury could be detected.
Stewards spoke to Mr Shaun Coulson, the representative of Cruisy's Warrior regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Cruisy's Warrior was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Coulson pleaded not guilty to the charge, Cruisy's Warrior was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
