Steward's Report
El Grand Knocka and Head Loch were quick to begin and collided approaching the first turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Still Single - unplaced in the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. McKenzie, the handler of Still Single regarding the betting surrounding the greyhound in this event. Stewards noted that there was significant movement in fixed odds betting for Still Single and also late support for the greyhound on the TAB, shortly prior to the start. Mr. McKenzie stated that the kennel did not support Still Single in today's event and was unaware of such betting movements for the greyhound. Mr. McKenzie added that he was confident that Still Single would be competitive today based on a recent trial. Stewards noted Mr. McKenzie's comments and have refererred the betting activity to GRV's Betting Analyst.
