Steward's Report
Winlock Newbolt and Caveman Yap were slow to begin.
Caveman Yap and Indulge collided soon after the start. Winlock Newbolt, Come On Eleanor, Caveman Yap, Indulge, Dreamy Eyes and Magic Will collided soon after the start checking Indulge and Magic Will. I'm Easy Boys and Havana Miss collided on the second turn. Winlock Newbolt and Caveman Yap collided on the second turn. Winlock Newbolt and Dreamy Eyes collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Winlock Newbolt and Indulge collided on the home turn checking Winlock Newbolt.
Magic Will underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 12. Magic Will was found to have an injury to the right calf muscle and left shin soreness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr G. Campbell, the representitive of Magic Will regarding the greyhound's performance on the second turn. Stewards deemed the performance to be unsatisfactory. Acting in accordance with GAR 71, Magic Will must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
