Steward's Report
Lektra Lyrebird - Late scratching at 5.07pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left hind nail injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Trainer Mr M. Delbridge and handler Mr S. Coulson were issued warnings for failing to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Taffeta Bale and Abelero Bale for racing pursuant to GAR 46 (2)
Taffeta Bale was slow to begin.
Abelero Bale and Drogheda County collided approaching the first turn. Taffeta Bale brushed the running rail on the home turn.
Taffeta Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.
