Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Riley's Paige.
Submission and Whiskey Riot were quick to begin. Vixstar checked off Whiskey Riot soon after the start and collided with Aston Perignon. Vixstar checked off Aston Perignon approaching the first turn. Submission and Steinbrenner collided on the first turn causing Submission to contact the running rail. Riley's Paige and Aston Perignon collided approaching the second turn. Steinbrenner and Curt Lee collided on the third turn checking Curt Lee which collided with Submission. Vixstar and Curt Lee collided approaching the winning post.
Vixstar was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Frewin, Handler of Vixstar and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
A sample was taken from Whiskey Riot, the winner of the event.
