Prior to the event Trainer Mrs. A Dailly was queried in relation to the preparation and her expectations of the greyhounds in this event. Mrs. Dailly explained that all greyhounds had trialled fairly at Ballarat and that the breaker had spoken highly of American Fame (early favourite); however, the kennel could not support that opinion. Mrs Dailly stated that the kennel did not place a wager on this event. As per routine the betting on this event will be analysed by the Integrity Department.
