Kareda Gold and Fairytale Ending collided approaching the first turn checking Kareda Gold. Oriental Pins, Fairytale Ending and Oriental Zeal collided on the first turn checking Fairytale Ending and Oriental Zeal. Fletcher Jay and Aston Gripen collided on the first turn and again several times entering and in the home straight. Fletcher Jay and Aston Gripen raced wide in the home straight.

From The Brink, All Inn Redman, All Inn Abby and Typhoon Tessie collided soon after the start. Floppy Joe, Tat Warby, Lightning Blue and Lance Link collided on the first turn checking Floppy Joe, Tat Warby and severely checking Lightning Blue, All Inn Redman and All Inn Abby.

Stewards delayed the all clear for this event, after two ducks took flight some distance infront of the racing field in the home straight. After viewing all available footage, Stewards established that no greyhound was materially affected by the incident and the all clear was subsequently given.

Spritely Too, Lektra Flirt, Harley Merrett and All Inn Christy collided on the first turn  Harley Merrett and Tex Kingdom collided approaching the home turn checking Harley Merrett.Spritely Too and Lektra Flirt collided on the home turn. All Inn Christy and Kranskey collided in the home straight.

Kraken Hero – New declared weight of 30.8, last raced at 32.2.

Lena Lake, Spot The Witch and Zipping Spud were slow to begin. Kraken Maxi, Camo Rex and Sateesha collided on the first turn checking Camo Rex. Kraken Maxi and Sateesha collided on the first turn severely checking Kraken Maxi, Kraken Hero and Clovally Granite. Kraken Maxi, Camo Rex and Kraken Hero collided on the home turn checking Camo Rex and severely checking Kraken Hero which fell as a result.

Kraken Hero underwent a post-race veterinary examination. No apparent injury was reported.
