Steward's Report
Magic Jet - Late scratching at 2.49pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. S. Collyer was fined $100.
Mr. Frost was slow to begin.
Crackerjack Ale and Crackerjack Soc collided soon after the start. Betty Bowl and Greysynd Blue collided approaching the first turn, checking Greysynd Blue. Mr. Frost and Master Cosmic collided on the first turn and again on the home turn.
Mr. Frost underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 9. Mr. Frost was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Back A Roughy - the winner of the event.
