Zambora Club, Close To Carnage and Brocky were slow to begin.
Rosie Yaala and Kalani Willow collided soon after the start, checking Kalani Willow. Kalani Willow, Zambora Club, Brocky and Blue Addition collided approaching the home turn, checking Kalani Willow, Brocky and Blue Addition. Zambora Club and Poor Old Rusty collided entering the home straight, checking Zambora Club. Brocky and Blue Addition collided in the home straight, checking Blue Addition.
Kalani Willow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind foot. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Blue Addition underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
