Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Our Manny.
Fine Tactics was slow to begin.
Waldord, Our Manny, Tommy Lava and Fine Tactics collided soon after the start checking Our Manny, Tommy Lava and Fine Tactics. Dottrel crossed to the outside approaching the first turn colliding with Leaping Lydia. Dottrel, Waldorf and Leaping Lydia collided on the first turn checking Leaping Lydia, Our Manny and Fine Tactics. Our Manny and Fine Tactics collided on the second turn. Our Manny, Tommy Lava and Leaping Lydia collided entering the back straight checking Dottrel; severely checking Our Manny, Tommy Lava and Fine Tactics. Our Manny and Dottrel collided on the third turn. Dottrel raced wide entering the home straight.
After the running of this race, Stewards declared "Hold All Tickets" to review the official race footage regarding an incident on the home turn. As the field raced around the home turn, the sprinklers on the track automatically activated in the home straight. After reviewing the footage and acting on their own observations, stewards deemed that no greyhound was impacted due to the incident, and the placings were not materially affected, and as a result, declared "All Clear" on the numbers, 2, 8, 5, 4.
Stewards also referred the incident to Club Management and GRV Club Raceday Operations.
