Smart Mary was quick to begin.
Noble Weetbix and Tom Riddle collided soon after the start. Noble Weetbix, Tom Riddle and Miss Heart collided on the first turn. Tiger Dusty and Noble Weetbix collided approaching the second turn. Noble Weetbix checked off Tiger Dusty in the back straight. Noble Weetbix and Miss Heart collided on the third turn checking Noble Weetbix.
Noble Weetbix underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
