Steward's Report
Annie Rose went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Sultan Bale was slow to begin. Bulk Billed crossed in on the first turn and collided with Skip A Yonnie checking Pennine Way, Rock Me Gorgeous and Annie Rose. Skip A Yonnie and Velocity Sunrise collided approaching the home turn checking Skip A Yonnie and severely checking Velocity Sunrise which stumbled and lost ground checking Rock Me Gorgeous. Pennine Way faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently tailed off. Annie Rose and Akina Archer collided several times approaching the home turn. Sultan Bale tired over the concluding stages of the event.
Pennine Way underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
