Mod Squad and Looks Like Turbo collided soon after the start.  Wrap Around and Kurri Kurri collided approaching the first turn.  Van Wilson checked off Looks Like Turbo approaching the first turn.  Debbie's Destiny checked off Mod Squad on the first turn. Heidi Intention, Looks Like Turbo and Debbie's Destiny collided on the first turn checking Heidi Intention.  Kurri Kurri and Heidi Intention collided approaching the second turn.  Debbie's Destiny and Wrap Around collided on the second turn.  Wrap Around raced wide on the second turn.  Looks Like Turbo and Milwaukee Miss collided on the home turn. 

Wrap Around underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest muscle and left hamstring injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mimstar – Late scratching at 11:45am when representative Mr J. Frewin reported the greyhound to have a left hind torn toenail (GAR 23).  The on-track veterinarian examined Mimstar and confirmed the injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Tiger Dusty and Henrow Bale were slow to begin.

Venus Allen, Gendarme and Jim's Hotel collided approaching the first turn checking Gendarme and Jim's Hotel.  Jim's Hotel checked off Venus Allen on the first turn.  Jim's Hotel, Gendarme and Dyna Saurus collided on the first turn checking Gendarme and Dyna Saurus.  Gendarme and Tiger Dusty collided approaching the home turn.  Dyna Saurus tired in the home straight. 

Dyna Saurus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the left hock and right hind foot. No stand down period was imposed.
