Collective Noun and Select Pattern collided soon after the start. Zipping Aspen, Select Pattern, Collective Noun and Mr. Compliant collided approaching the first turn. Just Harry and Nothing collided on the first turn. Collective Noun and Select Pattern collided approaching the home turn. Mr. Compliant and Just Harry collided on the home turn. Zanti Man raced wide on the home turn. Collective Noun and Select Pattern collided entering the home straight and in the home straight checking Collective Noun which contacted the running rail and lost ground. Nothing and Zanti Man raced wide in the home straight. Catalina Icon and Just Harry collided in the home straight.

Collective Noun underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be found.

Zipping Aspen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the left hind limb. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr E. Keene, trainer of Dundas Houdini and reminded him of his responsibilities to follow the starters instructions.

Sixteen Pegs and More Wit were slow to begin. Scott Something and Missy Marlus collided soon after the start checking Missy Marlus. Pride Of Oasis and Sixteen Pegs collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking Sixteen Pegs. Scott Something and More Wit collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Pride Of Oasis and Sixteen Pegs collided several times in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Kelson the handler of Sixteen Pegs regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting on Stewards and Mr. Kelson's own observations and all available footage Stewards took no further action.

Remain Seated and Mexican red collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Remain Seated, Mexican Ned and Nadia Business raced wide in the home straight.

Eight Bells Toll underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
