Steward's Report
Shortest Straw and Cosmic Sparkle were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Watched checked off Krispy Oreo collided approaching the first turn and collided with Crown Polly, Watched and Cosmic Sparkle. Ginny Weasley and Krispy Oreo collided on the first turn. Shortest Straw, Crown Polly, Krispy Oreo, Gloria Bale, Cosmic Sparkle and Watched collided on the first turn causing Crown Polly to fall. Krispy Oreo checked off Cosmic Sparkle on the home turn and severely checking Krispy Oreo. Impatient Tom tired over concluding stages of the event.
A post-race sample was taken from Ginny Weasley - the winner of the event.
Impatient Tom underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left elbow. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Crown Polly underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a suspected scapula fracture. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Krispy Oreo underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
