Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Maximum Capers upon arrival at the course.
Weblec Wizz was quick to begin.
Maximum Capers, Graphic Design and Aston Perignon collided soon after the start checking Aston Perignon. Highland Gypsy crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Marez Bale, Graphic Design and Maximum Capers and causing Lana's Image to fall. Zipping Lach and Weblec Wizz collided approaching the first turn checking Weblec Wizz. Maximum Capers checked off Graphic Design on the first turn. Graphic Design clipped the heels of Highland Gypsy approaching the home turn. Graphic Design and Highland Design collided entering the home straight checking Highland Gypsy.
Lana's Image underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the right foreleg and shoulder injury to the right foreleg, and a pencil injury to the right hindleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
