An out of competition sample was taken from Manila Beef on 2 July, 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Tophat And Tails was quick to begin. Top Alcohol and Carson County collided soon after the start. Tophat And Tails faltered and tailed off approaching the first turn. Chilling Story, Carson County and Top Alcohol collided approaching the firts turn checking Carson County and Top Alcohol. Carson County, Top Alcohol and Why Not Maxine collided approaching the home turn. Yondu and Shellbrook collided approaching the home turn.
Tophat And Tails underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
