Steward's Report
Angel's Comet, Rockin' Rosco and Silver Sultan collided soon after the start. Silver Sultan crossed to the rail at the 300m mark. Angel's Comet, Rockin' Rosco and Ado Carr collided at the 250m mark. Soho Girl and Ado Carr collided at the 200m mark. Meehan Louie and Maina Honey collided at the 200m mark checking Maina Honey. Ado Carr turned it's head to the inside approaching the 50m mark.
Ado Carr underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury and a spike wound to the left hind paw, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the greyhounds representative Mr N. Martin, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Ado Carr was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Martin pleaded guilty to the charge, Ado Carr must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
