Aston Eureka was quick to begin. Harrell Bale and Merriview Jolt were slow to begin.
Merriview Jolt checked off Zipping Cher soon after the start. Ashtown clipped the heels of Bont's Charlie approaching the first turn checking Ashtown and Merriview Jolt. Ashtown stumbled as a result. Zipping Cher crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Rapid Revenue and Jazz Fusion. Merriview Jolt and Rapid Revenue collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Ashtown and Bont's Charlie collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.
