Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) -

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Merton, the trainer of New Level regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. New Level last raced on 3rd August 2018. Mr. Merton stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being retired. Pursuant to GAR 77A, New Level trialled over the 425mts from box 3, weight 28.4kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 23.54, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 16.75L. New Level was Cleared.

Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Boehmke, the trainer of Eftpos Jess regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Eftpos Jess last raced on 18th July 2018. Mr. Boehmke stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being retired. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Eftpos Jess trialled over the 425mts from box 8, weight 26.1kg, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 23.54, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 50L. Eftpos Jess was Not Cleared. Eftpos Jess was vetted following the trial. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right chest muscle injury and injuries to both groin muscles. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
