Stewards spoke to George Kantzidis, the trainer of Diamond Bing regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Diamond Bling last raced on 5th August 2018. Mr Kantzidis stated that the greyhound was resuming racing from a broken right metacarpal.

Spot The Ghost, Jacobite Hammer and Spot The Barman collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Spot On Mick, Big Cam and Spot The Ghost collided on the first turn checking Big Cam and Jacobite Hammer. Azure Herrera and Kraken Tan collided approaching the home turn. Big Cam raced wide approaching the home turn and entering the home straight.

Dancin' In and Still Single were slow to begin.

Bro Wizard, Unique Portrait, Yandi, Better Way and Premier Back collided on the first turn checking Yandi and Better Way. Premier Back and Still Single collided approaching the first turn causing Premier Back to brush the running rail as a result. Unique Portrait raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Luka's Choice checked off Teacup Toni on the first turn. Pyrenees Classic and Sarah Smirnoff collided on the home turn. Run Maggie Run raced wide in the home straight.

Sukhoi Su and Cinnamon Cindy collided approaching the first turn. Gone Rusty stumbled on the first turn and collided with Our Mojo and lost ground as a result. Meehan Roy and Mexican Ned collided entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Reverend John was a late scratching at 2.05pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration of the right hind paw. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - It Is Done trialled over the 425mt from box 1, weight 28.9kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.83, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.75L. It Is Done was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Temps Lilo trialled over the 425mt from box 3, weight 27.2kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.83, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 20L. Temps Lilo was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Punt Road Girl trialled over the 425mt from box 4, weight 27.2kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.83, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.0L. Punt Road Girl was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - See Ya Mate trialled over the 425mt from box 8, weight 34.4kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.83, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.75L. See Ya Mate was cleared

Satisfactory Trial Results - Pepper Shiraz trialled over the 500mt from box 1, weight 28.6kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 28.48, the greyhound won by a margin of 5L. Pepper Shiraz was cleared.
