Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Merl's Blaze upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Don's Magic was a late scratching at 2.57pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a right back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Merl's Blaze was quick to begin. Spring Ace was slow to begin. Merl's Blaze checked off Lancome Lady approaching the first turn. Merl's Blaze and Kalgoorlie Kid collided on the first turn checking Spring Ace. Kalgoorlie Kid checked off Spring Ace on the home turn.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Trial Results - Reid Star trialled over the 460m from Box 1, weight 31.6, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4 starters.The time of the trial was 25:82, the greyhound won by a margin of 4.75m. Reid Star was Cleared.
