A pre-race sample was taken from Kubla De Kahn.
Janray Warrior was quick to begin. Allanon was slow to begin and stumbled soon after the start. Jenjira and Dreamtime Anna collided soon after the start. Janray Warrior and Kubla De Kahn collided on the first turn. Burrawonga Girl checked off Dreamtime Anna on the first turn. Dreamtime Anna lost ground in the home straight.
Dreamtime Anna was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
