Unbuckled and Prince Cody were slow to begin.
Rock In Rio and Greysynd Cruise collided soon after the start, checking Greysynd Cruise, which stumbled as a result. Lektra Lyrebird and Segovia's Dream collided on the first turn, checking Lektra Lyrebird,Segovia's Dream and Unbuckled. Greysynd Cruise brushed the running rail on the first turn.
