Whistlin Missile and Distant Star were slow to begin.

Moraine Nicky and Inspire Us collided soon after the start. Whistlin Missile and Zipping Cher collided approaching the first turn checking Whistlin Missile and severely checking Zipping Cher which fell as a result. Crackerjack Scot and Lana's Image collided on the first turn. Distant Star galloped on the heels of Inspire Us approaching the home turn checking Distant Star and severley checking Inspire Us. Inspire Us and Distant Star collided entering the home straight.

Zipping Cher underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have possible fractures to the left pelvic area. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Inspire Us underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left monkey, left pencil and left quadricep. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Crook Me Kindly checked off She's A Mitzi on the first turn causing Crook Me Kindly to stumble badly and then to collide with Found In Quartz. Mepunga Debbie and Lulumon collided approaching the home turn. Gai Keeping checked off She's A Mitzi causing Crook Me Kindly to check off Gai Keeping. 

Crook Me Kindly underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Verev and Tolga collided approaching the first turn. 

Five Times Table and Verev collided on the first turn checking My Mandara and severely checking School Report which fell. Clouded Acorn and Verev collided approaching the home turn. My Mandara and Verev collided on the home turn. Clouded Acorn raced wide in the home straight. 

A post-race sample was taken from Tolga - the winner of the event.

School Report underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured radius/ulna. School Report was humanely euthanased.
