Cullquin Layney underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Richard Anchen trainer of Cullquin Layney regarding the greyhounds performance. Mr Anchen stated that the greyhound had trialled well recently with other greyhounds and that today was the greyhounds first time in a full field. Stewards noted Mr Anchens explanation, the veterinary injury and Stewards took no further action.

Miss Booming underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a injury to the left monkey muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Crackerjack Des – Was stood down from racing at Bendigo for failing to chaise due to injury. Weighing 29.1kg and beginning from box 1 beaten by 2.5 lengths. Crackerjack Des has been cleared to race all tracks except Bendigo.

Anna Victorem – Was stood down from racing at Shepparton for failing to chaise due to injury. Weighing 26.7kg and beginning from box 3 beaten by 6.25 lengths. Anna Victorem has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Dyna Carl – Was stood down from racing at Geelong for marring. Weighing 28.9kg and beginning from box 8 beaten by 3 lengths. Dyna Carl has been cleared to race all tracks except Geelong.
