Crown Benji and Ocon Perez were slow to begin. 

Medina, Pliskova and Habib collided soon after the start checking Habib and Pliskova. Habib, Pliskova, Buckeye, Josephine and Crown Benji collided approaching the first turn checking Habib, Pliskova, Crown Benji and severely checking Buckeye which lost ground as a result. Medina, Ocon Perez and Habib raced wide on the home turn. Ocon Perez checked off the heels of Pliskova in the home straight.

Buckeye underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Crown Xena and Mepunga Remi were quick to begin. Barbados Boy and Hope To Wyn were slow to begin.

Grindelwald crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Barbados Boy and severely checking Happy Medium which lost ground. Mepunga Remi and Shankly collided on the home turn and again in the home straight on several occasions. Shankly and Crown Xena collided approaching the winning post.

Saxon Candy checked off the heels of Mysterious Mara approaching the first turn. Mysterious Mara and Big Little Sis collided on the home turn causing both greyhounds to race wide. Mysterious Mara and Big Little Sis collided in the home straight.

Cocoon was quick to begin. Sheriff Max was slow to begin.

Parry Allen, Step Aside, Titanium Lad collided soon after the start checking Step Aside. Titanium Lad checked off the heels of Parry Allen on the home turn. Cocoon raced wide on the home turn. Sheriff Max checked off the heels of Canya Lilly approaching the winning post.

Maramba checked off the heels of Dyna Zaylee soon after the start. 

In The Clear, Miss Vonshae and Dyna Zaylee collided on the first turn checking Miss Vonshae. Dyna Zaylee and Maramba raced wide on the home turn.

An out of competition sample was taken from Crook Me Kindly on 16/5/19 pursuant to GAR 79A.

This event was delayed approximately one minute due to in able track staff to place the lure in the correct position.

Untold Soldier and Noonbarra Storm were quick to begin. 

Noonbarra Storm, Speed Star and Runnin' Royalty collided on the first turn checking Noonbarra Storm. Runnin' Royalty and Dyna Winter raced wide on the home turn. Crook Me Kindly and Zipping Chaser collided on the home turn. Hot Jean and Noonbarra Storm collided in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Major Bourbski.

Lonesomeness and Dundee Blitz were slow to begin. 

Galaxy Blaster crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dyna Wink which collided with Cappy Morgan. Dyna Wink and Major Bourbski collided on the first turn. Glaxy Blaster and Dyna Wink raced wide on the home turn.

Blue Hunter- not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a left hock injury.

Last Outlaw was slow to begin. 

Great Success checked off the heels of Graphic Print approaching the first turn. Sky Wesley checked off the heels off Prancing Turbo on the first turn. Last Outlaw checked off the heels of Sky Wesley on the first turn. Aron Allen and Great Success raced wide on the home turn.

Inter Cody and Inter Joe were slow to begin. 

Darklight and Inter Cody collided approaching the first turn. Inter Joe checked off the heels of Inter Cody on the first turn. Inter Cody and Abby's Toy collided entering the home straight causing Inter Cody to fall

Inter Cody underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A post-race sample was taken from Blockette - the winner of the event.

White Cynder, Penny Worth, Runnin' Rampage, Desiree Dancer and She's For Us collided soon after the start checking Penny Worth, Runnin' Rampage and Desiree Dancer and causing She's For Us to strike the running rail and lose ground. Desiree Dancer and She's For Us make contact several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

She's For Us underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left foreleg mid radius. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of greyhound She's For Us regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. After taking into account the interference the greyhound suffered in the home straight and the injury it sustained, stewards issued a warning to She's For Us regarding it's racing manners.

Zipping Benny, Time Twister and Simply Smarter were slow to begin. 

Fernando's Flare checked off Simply Smarter approaching the first turn. Manny Allen and Zipping Benny raced wide on the home turn. Winlock Strecker and Simply Smarter collided in the home straight.

Inter Santina and Blackpool Blast were quick to begin.

Coco Marlow and De Belin collided soon after the start. Inter Santina, Merl's Angel and Coco Marlow collided on the first turn checking Inter Santina, Merl's Angel, Coco Marlow and De Belin. Blackpool Blast checked off Winlock Slim on the home turn. Inter Santina checked off Blackpool Blast entering the home straight and severely checking Coco Marlow. Merl's Angel and Blackpool Blast collided in the home straight.

Supplementary Report:

Stewards concluded an inquiry in relation to the scratching of ‘Whatta Lady’ from the Geelong meeting on Tuesday the 14thof May with the trainer Mr David Graham. Mr Graham stated that he was of the belief Whatta Lady had been scratched due to injury, and that he did this through his iPhone as is his usual process. Mr Graham was then made aware by stewards on the 14thof May that the greyhound was still in the field, which resulted in its late scratching, and a 28 stand down period was imposed.  After taking into account the circumstances of the case, and Mr Graham's personal circumstances, and other evidence given within the inquiry, stewards lifted the 28 day stand down period imposed on the greyhound, and fined Mr Graham $250, which was wholly suspended for a period of 12 months.
