Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Vintage Storm.
Alcantara was slow to begin. Mogo Jet checked off Tat Warby on the home turn. Mogo Jet and Tat Warby collided on the home turn. Mogo Jet crossed to the outside approaching the winning post and collided with Tat Warby, checking Alcantara and Tat Warby.
Mogo Jet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. M. Carter, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Mogo Jet was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. M. Carter pleaded guilty to the charge, Mogo Jet must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
