Mr T. Van Taarling was issued with a warning after the greyhound Twilight Connie was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.
Club Official Mr L. Harris was reminded of his responsibilities after the greyhound Twilight Connie was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration.
Harrell Bale was slow to begin.
Phone Me, Twilight Connie and Captive Prince collided approaching the first turn checking Twilight Connie and Harrell Bale. Phone Me and Captive Prince collided on the first turn checking Captive Prince. Twilight Connie contacted the running rail on the first turn. Harrell Bale and Captive Prince collided in the home straight. Kraken Bo and Phone Me collided approaching the winning post checking Kraken Bo.
Harrell Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left groin, right pencil and an abrasion to the right hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the representative of Harrell Bale, Mr S. Collyer regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. After reviewing all available footage stewards took no further action.
Twilight Connie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hind toes. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
