Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Och Eye Mum upon arrival at the course.
Super Rage and Spot On Mick were slow to begin.
Och Eye Mum checked off Spot On Mick approaching the first turn. Renita Bale checked off Super Rage on the first turn. Renita Bale and Adori collided approaching the second turn. Raylene Bale checked off Super Rage approaching the second turn. Super Rage failed to pursue the lure with due commitment on the third turn checking Renita Bale.
Super Rage underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. Mr Galea declined a re-vet. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Galea the trainer, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the third turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Super Rage was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Galea pleaded guilty to the charge, Super Rage is suspended for 28 days at Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant toGAR 69(A)(2)(a)before any future nomination will be accepted.
