A pre-race sample was taken from Qatar Girl.
Clark Road was slow to begin.
Blazin' Bulla and Qatar Girl collided at the 150 mark. Qatar Girl checked off Blazin' Bulla at the 100m mark. Early Express galloped on Uncatchable at the 50m mark checking Early Express, severely checking Uncatchable.
Uncatchable underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Clark Road - the winner of the event.
MEETING COMMENTS
Big Reputation – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to an injury to the right stopper tendon. Weighing 35.6kg and beginning from box 8, Big Reputation completed the 300m trial distance in a time of 16.51. Big Reputation placed first in a field of four winning by 2.5 lengths. Big Reputation has been cleared to race at all tracks.
