Banyuatis and Mini Yaala collided soon after the start. Jim's Hotel, Bush Bro and What's His Caper collided soon after the start. Bush Bro and What's His Caper collided approaching the first turn. Jim's Hotel galloped on the heels of Black Tess approaching the first turn checking Jim's Hotel. Jim's Hotel checked off What's His Caper on the first turn checking Bush Bro. Banyuatis checked off What's His Caper on the first turn checking Mischief Reigns. Jim's Hotel and Mischief Reigns collided approaching the home turn checking Mischief Reigns. Banyuatis raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Coulson, the trainer of One For Many, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. One For Many last raced on 17/11/18. Mr. Coulson stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel.

Through The Dark and Unwanted Lady collided on the first turn checking Through The Dark. Through The Dark and Unwanted Lady collided on the home turn checking Unwanted Lady. Don's Trouble raced wide in the home straight. 

Kurri Kurri checked off Rosie Yaala soon after the start. Dyna Virion and  Rosie Yaala collided on the first turn checking Rosie Yaala. Suvla Bay and Aston Vanquish collided approaching the home turn checking Suvla Bay. Zipping Murphy raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Mr. B. Finn, trainer of More Donuts, declared a new weight of 33.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). More Donuts last raced at 31.2kg.

Azure Dragon and Quick Session collided on the home turn. Zipping Dale and Black Market raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Azure Dragon and Quick Session collided approaching the winning post.

Tibby Shore slipped soon after the start and lost significant ground as a result. Mepunga Pride and Street Outlaw collided approaching the first turn. Bit Fancy contacted the running rail on the first turn. Bit Fancy checked off Ima Rockstar on the first turn.

After consulting the Bureau Of Meteorology the stewards dispensed with the requirements of the heat policy as the outside temperature was significantly lower than 32 degrees.
