The outside temperature at race start time was 36.4 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 19 degrees, and the humidity was 59%.

Krisbar Wee Wow and Kraken Maxi collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Nickel Black and Ace's Fab collided in the home straight. Ace's Fab eased approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Ms. P. Triaca the trainer of the greyhound Ace's Fab regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Ace's Fab was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left calf muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Ace's Fab with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Triaca pleaded guilty to the charge, Ace's Fab was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
