Just Teefa and Mahoney Miss collided on the first turn. Unique Quality checked off Temujin on the first turn causing Unique Quality and Whiney Whine to race wide. Mahoney Miss and Temujin collided on the first turn. Just Teefa checked off Mahoney Miss approaching the second turn and collided with Vane Power. Vane Power lost ground approaching the third turn. Unique Quality checked off Vane Power on the third turn. Just Teffa and Whiney Whine collided on the third turn.
Vane Power was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hind hip, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
