Steward's Report
Riddles, Penta Allen, Smart Knocka and Crackerjack Skip were slow to begin.
Riddles, Penta Allen and Southern Ripple collided soon after the start checking Riddles and Penta Allen. Southern Ripple and Crackerjack Skip collided on the first turn. Black Hornet and Smart Knocka collided approaching the second turn severely checking both greyhounds. Riddles checked off Southern Ripple entering the back straight. Penta Allen and Star Boy collided entering the back straight checking Star Boy. Star Boy and Crackerjack Skip collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn checking Crackerjack Skip.
Smart Knocka was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
