A pre-race sample was taken from Black Impala.
Miss Dee Meadows, Dyna Chancer and Zipping Monty were slow to begin. Bonnie Beauty checked off Miss Dee Meadows approaching the first turn. Black Impala and Blackjack Neo raced wide approaching the second turn. Soda Flash and Zipping Monty collided entering the back straight checking Soda Flash and Miss Dee Meadows. Bonnie Beauty checked off Miss Dee Meadows in the back straight. Miss Dee Meadows, Black Impala and Zipping Monty collided on the home turn checking Zipping Monty and Bonnie Beauty; Bonnie Beauty raced wide as a result. Max Jake tired over the concluding stages of the event.
Max Jake was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Black Impala was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
