Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Delaroche, the trainer of It's A Wink regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  It's A Wink last raced on 24/08/18.  Mr. Delaroche stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right fibula injury.

Benny's Entity and Lyka Skywalker were quick to begin.  Print The Money was checked off Benny's Entity approaching the first turn.  Kulu Ozzie and It's A Wink collided approaching the first turn.  Kulu Ozzie was checked off Double Que on the first turn checking It's A Wink and Print The Money.  Lyka Skywalker and Duke Of Burnley collided in the home straight.

Winning Broke was a late scratching at 1.31pm due to illness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Grenfell regarding the direction that the greyhound Blackpool Doc be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Mr. R. Cunneen was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Snip Snap pursuant to GAR 33.

Go Go Guru was slow to begin.  Weeona Gina and Snip Snap collided soon after the start.  Weeona Gina, Snip Snap and Sharp Missile collided approaching the first turn.  Payton crossed in approaching the first turn checking Snip Snap, Sharp Missile and Weeona Gina.  Snip Snap was checked off Go Go Guru on the home turn.  Why Not Macca and Go Go Guru collided in the home straight.  Weeona Gina and Snip Snap raced wide in the home straight.

Argyle Lucifer was a late scratching at 6.18pm after the trainer Mr. R. Morgan contacted the Stewards and advised he had broken down en route to the track.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed on the greyhound, this may be lifted and the $100 fine not issued if Mr. Morgan provides Stewards with the appropriate evidence of the break down within 48 hours.

Mr. B. Dewan was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Dewana Special pursuant to GAR 33.
