The start of this event was delayed by 2 minutes due to a Wagga harness event.

My Uncle Bob was slow to begin.  Macs Road and Manny Allen collided approaching the first turn.  Quarter Mile and Applied collided approaching the first turn, on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Quarter Mile which collided with Nuke Dukem.  Dyna Eva and My Uncle Bob collided entering the home straight.

A sample was taken from  Colorado during a kennel visit by Stewards today.

Lektra Elsa was a late scratching at 1.12pm due to illness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Knocker the trainer of Ballinderry Girl regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Ballinderry Girl last raced on 16/05/18.  Mr. Knocker stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right wrist injury.

Rumbling was slow to begin.  Rumbling raced wide approaching the first turn checking Savannah Ash.  Colorado was checked off Yoppi Allen on the first turn.  Ballinderry Girl and Yoppi Allen collided on the first turn checking Yoppi Allen, Akina Cosmo and Rumbling.  Colorado and Yoppi Allen collided approaching the home turn checking Yoppi Allen.  Rumbling and Colorado collided on the home turn.  Akina Cosmo raced wide on the home turn.  Savannah Ash was checked off Feikuai Donna on the home turn.

Akina Harley was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Dyna Alexia was slow to begin.  Woodleigh Sal lost ground on the first turn.  Dyna Alexia was checked off Zipping Mulga on the first turn.  Savanah Sky raced wide on the home turn.

Woodleigh Sal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and left chest muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Drew and Zipping Chaser were slow to begin.  Wadelock Sampson, You Bug Me, Alon and Weeona Paul collided approaching the first turn severely checking Alon.  You Bug Me and Weeona Paul collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  You Bug Me and Weeona Paul collided approaching the home turn checking You Bug Me, Weeona Paul and Alon.  You Bug Me and Weeona Paul collided on the home turn checking You Bug Me.  Vienna Gypsy raced wide on the home turn.  Dyna Drew and Wadelock Sampson collided in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Yogi Mikado.

Yogi Mikado was slow to begin.  Tantalise was checked off Penny Black soon after the start.  Crocodile Senor and Aston Tobin collided soon after the start.  Ninetymile Hawk, Crocodile Senor and Perfect Project collided approaching the home turn checking Ninetymile Hawk and severely checking Crocodile Senor which collided with Aston Tobin.  Ninetymile Hawk and Aston Tobin collided on the home turn.  Penny Black, Ninetymile Hawk and Yogi Mikado collided in the home straight.  Crocodile Senor raced wide in the home straight.

Navajo Bear and Aston Utah were quick to begin.  Dr. Paulina and Rocky Ravioli were slow to begin.  Aston Utah and Fully Loaded collided approaching the home turn checking Fully Loaded.  Dr. Paulina and Shady Tex collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Okay Kirsty and Fully Loaded collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Shady Tex and Rocky Ravioli collided approaching the winning post.

Whiz and Dr. Abbie were quick to begin.  Dyna Kara and Harvey Warbanger collided soon after the start checking Dyna Kara.  Harvey Warbanger clipped the heels of Ima Ghost Buster on the first turn.  Saldana crossed to the outside on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Divirgillio the trainer of Brick Lane regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Brick Lane last raced on 22/04/18.  Mr. Divirgillio stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right back muscle injury.

Straitline Willy was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Dr. Condor and Tiarna Keeping collided soon after the start.  Brick Lane and Paddy's Cripp collided on the first turn, Brick Lane subsequently lost ground.  Tiarna Keeping, Dr. Sherlock, Midnight Memphis and Superior Bont collided on the first turn checking Midnight Memphis and Dr. Sherlock.  Straitline Willy was checked off Dr. Sherlock approaching the home turn.  Dr. Sherlock and Midnight Memphis collided on the home turn checking Midnight Memphis, Straitline Willy and Paddy's Cripp.

Brick Lane was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Hot Fiasco was quick to begin.  News Print was slow to begin.  Stylish Missile, Dex's Affair and Rapanui Surprise collided soon after the start checking Rapanui Surprise causing Dex's Affair to fall and subsequently pull up.  Stylish Missile was checked off Captain Jackie on the first turn, Stylish Missile raced wide as a result.  Stylish Missile and News Print collided approaching the winning post.

Dex's Affair was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Damo's Pinapple and Lights Of Tanjil were quick to begin.  Que Allen and Placid Pause were slow to begin.  Country Gal and Daisy Me Diggin' collided soon after the start.  Damo's Pineapple, Country Gal and Master Faith collided on the first turn checking Country Gal and Damo's Pineapple, Damo's Pineapple lost ground as a result.  Que Allen and Daisy Me Diggin' collided on the first turn checking Daisy Me Diggin'.  Placid Pause and Damo's Pineapple collided approaching the home turn.

Go Go Guru was a late scratching at 5.39pm due to injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Enzo was quick to begin.  Bossy Caleb, Paisley, Dr. Yanma, Crickets Dash and Warrion Warrior collided approaching the first turn checking Paisley, Dr. Yanma and Crickets Dash.  Bossy Caleb was checked off Paisley on the first turn.  Dr. Yanma and Crickets Dash collided on the first turn.  Warrion Warrior clipped the heels of Enzo approaching the home turn.

Alina Grand was quick to begin.  She's Perfect, Aquiam and Aston Hinkley were slow to begin.  Rhyan's Return and Zoobie collided on the first turn checking Zoobie.  Aquiam and Aston Hinkley collided on the first turn checking Aquiam.  Alina Grand and Teflon Toby collided on the first turn checking Alina Grand and causing Rhyan's Return to gallop on Alina Grand checking both greyhounds as a result.  Rhyan's Return and Aquiam collided approaching the home turn.  Zoobie and Aston Hinkley collided on the home turn.  Alina Grand and Aquiam collided entering the home straight.
