Steward's Report
Arch Enemy was quick to begin.
Lana's Image, Unbuckled and Moraine Rosie collided soon after the start checking Moraine Rosie. Unbuckled and Thomeli Gal collided on the first turn checking Unbuckled. Lana's Image checked off Prince Cody approaching the home turn causing Prince Cody, Lana's Image and Inga Assalt to collide checking all greyhounds. Unbuckled brushed the rail approaching the home turn colliding with Thomeli Gal and checking Unbuckled, Unbuckled and Prince Cody collided as a result. Moraine Rosie and Thomeli Gal collided approaching the home turn.
Unbuckled underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Moraine Rosie underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request, and was found to have a right foreleg split webbing . A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Scott Gibson the trainer of Prince Cody in regards to the late betting activity of Prince Cody, the greyhound opened at $5.50 and was backed into $3.80 at race start time. Stewards referred the matter to the GRV betting analyst. A post race sample was taken from Prince Cody second place getter in the event.
